Info
This project consists of an extensive audiovisual documentation of the exhibition process of Rebecca Brodskis at the Centro de las Artes de San Luis Potosí. Over the course of ten days, rastro followed the artist in residence as she developed and painted a mural inside the Centro de las Artes, leading up to the inauguration of her exhibition — where a significant body of her work was presented in a single space.
The focus extended beyond the final result to the full arc of creation: gesture, repetition, correction, doubt, and decision-making. In addition to the central documentary film built around the exhibition, the project included multiple audiovisual records: in-depth conversations with the artist, dialogues with the curatorial team, and interviews with institutional staff. The mounting process — from spatial planning to the installation of each artwork — was documented as both an artistic and logistical choreography. rastro deployed a dedicated film crew to ensure comprehensive and intimate coverage. The resulting body of work operates as a layered visual archive of the exhibition’s formation — a study of process, collaboration, and the transformation of space through painting.
